My Dino Empire AFK Guide: Connected Play and Offline Choices

Understand what the AFK statement means

My Dino Empire advertises that you will not be kicked for being AFK. That makes remaining connected without active input a supported session choice. It does not mean you must keep a device running for the base to earn, because the game separately advertises offline earnings.

Choose the kind of absence that suits you. If you want to close Roblox, offline earnings let the base remain part of your next visit. If you remain connected, do so because it fits the session you want, rather than because a generic farming guide says every absence must be online.

Give Playtime its own decision

The Playtime window shows cash, boosts, time skips, Explorer Egg, Frost Mutation Milk and a named dinosaur reward. Its warning says leaving resets progress. That is a reason to make a deliberate reward decision before leaving, not a statement that every form of base progress disappears.

Use active time for choices you care about

Rolling, placement, sales and floor development give active play a purpose beyond staying connected. Choose one of those when you return to the keyboard or touchscreen. Finishing a sale or deciding which floor to improve is a clearer goal than watching an advanced balance increase.
